近期內將聯合經濟部、工業局、資策會、工研院光電所、SDM聯誼會、鴻海精密工業、德州儀器、大同、英業達、天瀚科技、八達創新科技、PDA
/ DSC / Mobile Phone等業界以及中國、韓國數十家相關廠商和通路，共同成立CUD國際協會（簡稱CUDIA），現正規劃籌備中。俟創始會員組成，將立刻訂定協會規章、入會辦法及各項權益，隨即在網站上公佈實施，敬請期待並竭誠歡迎參加，共襄盛舉！

Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Development
Bureau, Institute for Information Industry, Industrial Technology
Research Institute, Texas Instruments, Aiptek, Foxconn, Tatung,
Atech Totalsolution and Digitimes jointly held "Cross-strait
small memory card workshop" at Grand Hyatt Taipei in Apr 8,
2003. The successful event had more than 1000 attendees flooding
the 700-seats meeting room. After the workshop, more than
50 makers in PDA/DSC/ mobile phone/MP3 player from China,
Taiwan, Japan and Korea signed up to join CUD International
Association (CUDIA) and expressed strong interests in designing
products with CUD card.
